(Senior)Business Controller – Eastern Europe

We are looking for a Senior Business Controller in Eastern Europe. In this role, you are responsible for financial control, forecasting, and business analysis within an international logistics organization. You will directly impact profitability, KPIs, and strategic decision-making.

Job description
As a (Senior) Business Controller, you are responsible for financial steering and performance analysis of the business unit. You act as a strategic sparring partner for management and continuously improve results and processes.

  • You prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports

  • You analyze results and margins and translate insights into action plans

  • You develop and optimize KPIs and dashboards in Power BI

  • You advise on capacity management (equipment, charters, drivers)

  • You lead business projects (efficiency improvements, freight flows, load optimization)

  • You improve data, systems, and reporting together with IT and Finance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or Business Administration

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Business Controller

  • Strong in forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting

  • Experience with Excel and Power BI (BI tools)

  • Analytical, independent, and strong communication skills
